These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, treatments, treatment packages and services provided by Skin Atelier by Manon.
By booking an appointment, purchasing a treatment package or receiving a treatment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Appointments and bookings
Appointments can be booked through Fresha or through another booking method offered by Skin Atelier by Manon.
When making a booking, you are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact information. Please check the treatment details, price, duration, date and time before confirming your appointment.
Bookings are subject to availability. Skin Atelier by Manon reserves the right to decline, reschedule or cancel an appointment where reasonably necessary.
Appointment confirmations and reminders may be sent through Fresha, email or SMS. These reminders are provided as a courtesy. You remain responsible for attending, rescheduling or cancelling your appointment on time, even if a reminder is not received.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so as early as possible through Fresha or by contacting Skin Atelier by Manon.
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.
For cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment, Skin Atelier by Manon reserves the right to charge 100% of the booked treatment price.
If you do not attend your appointment without cancelling, the full treatment price may be charged.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require advance payment before future bookings are accepted.
Any applicable cancellation terms and charges will be communicated clearly during the booking process. Cancellation conditions should be visible before the booking is confirmed rather than only appearing afterward.
4. Late arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, Skin Atelier by Manon will make reasonable efforts to provide the treatment within the remaining appointment time. However, the treatment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying the next client.
The full treatment price may still apply when an appointment is shortened because of late arrival.
If you arrive too late for the treatment to be performed safely or effectively, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or treated as a late cancellation.
5. Consultation and treatment suitability
Every treatment can be adapted to your individual skin, concerns and goals.
Before or during your appointment, you may be asked to provide information relevant to the safety and suitability of your treatment. This may include information about:
allergies and sensitivities
pregnancy or breastfeeding
medication
medical conditions
recent cosmetic or medical procedures
skin conditions, irritation, infection or inflammation
previous reactions to skincare products or treatments
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and up-to-date information.
Please inform Skin Atelier by Manon if anything changes between appointments or if you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable for you.
Skin Atelier by Manon may adapt, postpone or decline a treatment where there is a known or suspected contraindication, where additional medical advice may be appropriate, or where proceeding could present a risk to your health or skin.
Where necessary, you may be advised to consult a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional before receiving treatment.
6. Treatment results
Every person’s skin is different. Treatment outcomes may vary depending on factors including skin type, age, lifestyle, health, skincare routine, treatment history and adherence to aftercare recommendations.
Skin Atelier by Manon will provide treatments with professional care and will offer realistic information about expected outcomes. However, specific or permanent results cannot be guaranteed.
Some treatments may require multiple sessions or ongoing maintenance to achieve or maintain the desired result.
Any photographs, examples or descriptions of treatment outcomes are illustrative and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every client will achieve the same result.
7. Possible reactions and aftercare
Some treatments may cause temporary reactions, including redness, sensitivity, warmth, tightness, dryness, mild swelling, peeling or tenderness.
The expected effects and relevant aftercare will be discussed where appropriate.
You are responsible for following the aftercare guidance provided and for contacting Skin Atelier by Manon if you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction.
If you experience severe symptoms or believe you require urgent medical attention, contact an appropriate healthcare professional or emergency service.
8. Prices and payment
Current treatment prices are displayed on the Skin Atelier by Manon website, Fresha booking page or treatment menu.
All prices are stated in euros and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due according to the payment method and timing communicated during booking or at the appointment.
Accepted payment methods may vary and will be communicated at the studio or during the booking process.
Skin Atelier by Manon reserves the right to update treatment prices. Any price change will not affect an appointment that has already been confirmed at an agreed price, unless the booking is subsequently changed to a different treatment.
9. Treatment packages
Treatment packages are personal and may not be transferred to another person unless agreed in writing by Skin Atelier by Manon.
Package treatments must be used within twelve months of the purchase date unless another validity period is stated at the time of purchase.
Appointments booked as part of a package remain subject to the cancellation and no-show policy.
If a package appointment is cancelled late or missed without notice, that session may be deducted from the remaining package balance.
Packages cannot be exchanged for cash. Any right to cancellation or reimbursement under applicable consumer law remains unaffected.
If Skin Atelier by Manon is permanently unable to provide the remaining treatments in a package, an appropriate alternative or refund for unused sessions will be offered.
10. Online bookings and right of withdrawal
Where a treatment package, prepaid service or other service is purchased online, statutory consumer rights may apply, including a possible 14-day right of withdrawal.
If you request that a service begins during an applicable withdrawal period, you may be asked to provide explicit consent. If the service has already been partly or fully performed at your request, your right to withdraw may be affected and you may be required to pay for the service already provided.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory rights available under Dutch or European consumer law. Online purchases of services can carry a statutory cooling-off period, although exceptions and conditions may apply once performance begins.
11. Gift cards
Gift cards are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase.
Gift cards may be used toward eligible treatments but cannot be exchanged for cash.
If the value of a treatment exceeds the remaining gift-card balance, the difference must be paid separately.
Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaceable unless proof of purchase can be provided.
12. Personal belongings
Please take reasonable care of your personal belongings while attending an appointment.
Skin Atelier by Manon is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings unless caused by intentional misconduct or negligence for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
13. Respectful conduct
Skin Atelier by Manon is committed to providing a safe, respectful and comfortable environment.
Aggressive, discriminatory, threatening, inappropriate or unsafe behaviour will not be accepted. A treatment may be ended or an appointment refused where reasonably necessary to protect the wellbeing or safety of the practitioner, clients or others.
Where a treatment is ended because of serious inappropriate behaviour, payment may remain due.
14. Cancellation by Skin Atelier by Manon
In rare circumstances, Skin Atelier by Manon may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment because of illness, emergency, technical issues or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Where possible, you will be informed as soon as reasonably practicable and offered a new appointment.
If a prepaid appointment cannot be rescheduled, the amount paid for the affected treatment will be refunded.
Skin Atelier by Manon is not responsible for indirect costs arising from a cancelled appointment, such as travel expenses or loss of income, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
15. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a treatment or service, please contact Skin Atelier by Manon as soon as reasonably possible so that the matter can be understood and addressed.

Making a complaint does not affect your statutory rights.
16. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Skin Atelier by Manon Privacy Policy.
Information relevant to treatment safety and suitability will be handled with care and used only for appropriate purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
17. Liability
Skin Atelier by Manon provides treatments with reasonable professional care.
To the extent permitted by law, Skin Atelier by Manon is not responsible for loss, damage or adverse effects resulting from:
incomplete, inaccurate or withheld information provided by the client
failure to follow aftercare instructions
the use of products or treatments outside Skin Atelier by Manon
an undisclosed allergy, sensitivity, medical condition or contraindication
circumstances outside reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
18. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
Skin Atelier by Manon may update these Terms & Conditions when services, prices, policies or legal requirements change.
The version applicable to a booking will generally be the version available when the booking is made.
The latest version will always be available on the website.
19. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
